The pharmacy in Chalkida will be created on the basis of earth tones. We tried to reflect the shades of nature. Paolo Coelho quoted that “God hid his pharmacy in nature”, and that’s what we wanted to convey through the space in its entirety. Light wood and shades of beige will make up its color palette in order to achieve the desired effect.
The walls will have a beige base in order to create a canvas, capable of accepting the other colors. Beige is a neutral color and can be comfortably paired with various colors and especially with earthy hues.
Over this light wood partitions will be placed, which will serve in the classification and grouping of the products. This will be implemented the process of finding any product easier, both by customers and employees. Some points on the wall will be covered with wood and glass shelves will be placed.
The windows will also be utilized without, however, excluding their physical qualities. That is their view to the exterior. Wooden shelves will be placed in front of the windows, leaving the visible part uncovered. The shelves will be in the shape of a rectangular prism. This way, we will also take advantage of the natural lighting, for the benefit of promoting the store’s products.
In the middle of the room, a low double-sided wall will be placed. One side will be used as an extra product display, and the other will make a comfortable sofa in case someone needs to sit down for a while. The back of the wall will be of a light wood with a beige frame, while its base will be beige and will be used as a shelf. Glass shelves will also be placed above the base of one side.
The Cashier – Customer Service area will be artificially limited without being isolated and thus it will be a distinctive spot, but will still remain an important part of the shop. This will be achieved by using a glass wall. The customer service counter will follow the same pattern as the rest of the room. It will be dressed in light wood and the base with the workbench will be separated by a luminous lane while a bright flower will decorate its base.
The plasterboard above the customer service counter is divided into multiple levels and this will be utilized, hosting a technique that depicts dense vegetation in black color. The vegetation depicts herbs where the creation of medicines is based. It is a synergistic combination to show the quality and natural origin of the commodity.
On the empty wall above the shelves, an artistic style will also be created, this time a bindweed in black color, reminiscent of olive branches, which is the number one symbol of the Greek land.
The lighting of the roof was chosen to be subtle with the presence of light spots lengthwise. Additionally, asymmetrical stripes in white color will be created to reflect light on them and achieve better visibility, combined with impeccable aesthetics.
