INNOVO CONSTRUCTIONS undertook the renovation and reconstruction of another shoe store in the traditional and timeless Keratsini in Piraeus.
With special care, like every time, INNOVO CONSTRUCTIONS has managed to offer to the professional the shop of his dreams. Shoes, as it is well known, are a very important sector of the wider trade process. This is because women have a worship relationship with them and they buy them avidly.
A product so essential that demonstrates excellent movement on the market has the right to be in a place worthy of it. Even ladies who want to buy it, want to feel comfortable and familiar when shopping it.
We have therefore prepared a modern space that has nothing to be jealous of Europe’s market. Instead of shelves, we chose geometric shapes to replace them. We left in the realm of the past the cumbersome boxes, which essentially hid the shoes and did not allow visitors to enjoy their grandeur.
Starting from the beautiful showcase, we took care not only to make the shop visible but also to showcase the merchandise in a way that does not tire the passerby. The internal space and shoes, maintain a visual balance for the person who checks them out from the outside, in order to urge him/her to come in. The dominant colors are earthy brown and marble beige. They are delimited in such a way that they are dominant without becoming boring. Earthy shades predispose the visitor to feel relaxed and comfortable. Like being in a familiar environment.
On the other hand, there is enough white color in the decor, which blends harmoniously with the rest of the colors, completing them ideally. The choice of neutral and not striking colors was not accidental. By being discreet, they give the shoe colors the chance to steal the show and draw, subconsciously, the attention of customers.
Of course, our favorite wood could not be missing from the place. Wood makes a room warm and welcoming. However, other cooler materials dominate as well, in order to achieve harmony and the impression of fragile luxury.
In the middle, comfortable seats are fitted, ready to welcome customers and make them feel that they came there to stay as long as possible. The more they sit, the more they shop. The placement was made in the center of the shop, to allow a direct view of the shoes and to know exactly what they want to get.The ceiling is adorned with a beautiful decorative plaster board. This has lowered the height of the shop. People, when being in places with very high ceilings, feel uncomfortable and tiny. However, with this trick, they do not feel lost, but on the contrary, they feel important.
Also on the plasterboard, lighting has been placed both on the top and the bottom. From the top, it is ornately hidden to keep it from getting tiring and for illuminating the room evenly. From the bottom, there are small headlamps, which aim at the shoes so that they look as beautiful as possible.
Finally, in the background, a mirror has been placed to give the illusion of length, even if it doesn’t really exist, so that the shop looks longer.
