The majority of pharmacies today focus more on the sale and promotion of parapharmaceuticals and cosmetics and less on the mere sale of medicines. Therefore, the operational needs of a pharmacy change in order to find the appropriate organization, classification, and promotion of products. For this reason, the pharmacist from Piraeus approached Innovo Constructions, the company specializing in the design, manufacture, and renovation of a pharmacy, in order to make his vision a reality.
The showcase of the pharmacy is the key link between the private and public space. Large double-sided glazing rails that rest on the roof and floor of the Phamacy make a sophisticated and versatile choice for displaying the merchandise both externally and internally in the pharmacy.
The simple and elegant design extends to the rest of the space. The compositions dominate the glass by allowing the person to see each sale point. An impressive construction of all is the gondola, projecting the products lightly in the foreground. The use of glass, however, is not limited to its use in furniture and pharmacy equipment. Two large colored glass surfaces act as dividing panels to isolate the drawers from the customers’ field of view, increasing the commerciality of the business.
In the decoration, the whiteness of the surfaces prevails, offering through suitable lighting a liveliness and brightness in the atmosphere. This creates the ideal backdrop for colorful product packaging. On the floor, a tile in imitation wood is placed giving the environment the warmth required by a wellness space to make it familiar and friendly to customers.
To sum up, it is evident that the new identity is reflected internally and externally, and is perceived by the consumers even from a long distance. With the innovative design and modern organization of the space, the pharmacy gains a more commercial character, aiming at increasing sales and profitability as a result.
