Construction of Snack – Cafe in Petralona

Construction of Snack – Cafe in Petralona

The name of the new snack – cafe in Petralona is no accident. The name ‘Mila’ fully represents the owner, while at the same time being the central idea of the store’s decoration.

The story of the apple goes back a long way, and the customer can see it integrating into the everyday life as time passes through the boxes around the store. The shop has two entrances for better customer service. Entering from the main entrance, the passer-by stands directly in front of the service counter, from where he/she can get whatever he/she wants. The labeling and catalogs preset thoroughly the products for sale. The wide variety of products combined with the well-trained and skilled staff can not leave any customer unsatisfied. The ergonomics and equipment of the store play an important role in the positive psychology of the staff.

Everything is designed to avoid confusion in the preparation of different items, the minimum distance required for immediate customer service and all products to be organized in categories in showcases and storage areas (cabinets, refrigerators, freezers). The inox designs are exclusively designed for the “Mila” snack – cafe, to fully meet the requirements – dimensions of the space and the needs of the employee.

The auxiliary area hosts the workshop where the products are stored and prepared on organized benches with the necessary equipment. Snack – Cafe The modern version of the industrial design creates a warm atmosphere and a friendly environment for the customer. The light wood contrasts with the black metal frame that frames and supports it. The ceiling actively participates in the composition with wooden elements and black bells – fixtures hanging scattered in the desired places. Observing the equipment on the site it is clear that there are no low tables but only a fold for customer service.

Their design was made after the customer’s desire to give the space the concept of fast food (on the go) rather than the cafeteria where the customer sits down for hours to enjoy his coffee or lunch. For this reason the existence of many stools has been avoided. However, customers can choose to enjoy their meal in the central area or more privately, near the side entrance, away from the inquisitive gaze of those in front of the service counter. The visual comfort with intense lighting illumination when preparing and serving customers on the workbench contrasts with ambient lighting in the rest. The emphasis the owner wanted to put on the resting posture is directly connected and interconnected with the proper lighting of the space.

The design and construction of the store was completed by Innovo Constructions responding to customer requirements and needs. The consulting and organization of the shop after the completion of construction is also an integral part of the company’s provider department.
