Dry Construction Systems with Knauf Plasterboards consist of plasterboards, cement boards, metal profiles, accessories and surface treatment materials.
They are the modern materials for building and decorating any interior. They are distinguished in Systems of Ceiling, Masonry and Wall Cladding. They offer freedom of design, fast and dry installation, thermal insulation, soundproofing, quake-resistant and pleasant ambient climate. Gypsum is the basis of modern construction material of plasterboard. Knauf plasterboards are flat rectangular components made of gypsum core lined on both sides with special paper for greater durability and better surface area.
According to the purpose of the plasterboard, the required properties are given to the gypsum and paper by admixtures and special treatment. Knauf plasterboard meets all relevant specifications: Knauf plasterboards are structural elements that are easily mounted with screws on metal frame, nails on a wooden frame or plasterboards on an existing masonry, forming the basis of Dry Structures Systems. These systems meet high demands on thermal insulation, sound insulation, fire resistance and earthquake resistance. On their front mark they are marked fastening points with screws at distances of 25cm.
The back of the Knauf plasterboard is labeled in the middle with a 5cm thick seal to facilitate the craftsman to position the upright. The long edges of the plasterboard are paper-coated and are a determining factor in the way and quality of their plastering.
